From Emma to EmmaCoach
Why do people do what they do? What drives them? How does someone make choices? What factors influence those decisions? And how do you navigate that? These are the questions that have fascinated me my entire life. That’s why I chose to study psychology. This was later followed by a degree in communication, which (at the time) seemed like the most visible and audible form of interaction between people.
However, as I embarked on my personal and professional development, I also began a significant search for the form that truly suited me. At first, perhaps unconsciously, but over time increasingly consciously and actively.
As a certified coach, who I am and what I want to do have come together. As a result, I feel more like myself than ever before. But the process doesn’t end there. I need to keep developing to remain true to myself. That’s why I regularly participate in peer review sessions, training, and education programs. I’m also a member of the Dutch Association for Professional Coaches (NOBCO) and certified as ‘Registered Career Professional” by the professional association for career specialists (Noloc).

What can you expect?
When you have a conversation with me, don’t expect any fluff, but you can expect depth. A conversation where you’ll quickly feel at ease. A conversation in which, either by me or by you, questions can be asked that are bold, challenging, or touch you on a deeper level. A conversation where space, attention, and stability are provided, allowing you to explore what truly matters beneath the surface. We won’t just use your intellectual capacity for this, but also your emotional intelligence. You’ll get to know yourself better, which will strengthen your autonomy. And through the new insights, you’ll gain a clearer sense of what you need to do. In the long run, you’ll carry these insights and experiences with you, so you’ll be able to ask yourself the right questions when facing future challenges.
